Biography

Neerja Babbar is a Professor.

Her projects range from residential, industrial, commercial interiors and public buildings. Her achievements include:

  • Lectured at several universities in the the country and has been the founder Principal of University Institute of Architecture, Chandigarh University & also of School of Architecture & Design, Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

  • Editor of 'International Journal of Habitat Design & Environment', ISSN No. 2395-5309

  • Associate Editor of "National Journal of Advanced Research, ISSN: 2455-216X

  • Editor of Books:

  • Honorary Executive Secretary of The Institute of Indian Interior Designers.

  • Member Academic Council, Member- Grievance Cell and President Women’s Cell at Chandigarh University, Gharuan Punjab during 2012-14

  • Executive Committee Member of the Academic Council, Board of Studies and Anti-ragging Committee of Maharaja Agrasen University since 2014.

  • Director of Maharaja Agrasen Construction Cell, providing Architectural Design services to numerous projects in the region. vis; 200 bedded Intenational Boys Hostel

  • COA nominee, member of Inspection Committees and NATA Evaluator since March 2016.

  • Recepient of 'FFFACE' - First Friday Forum Award for Creative Excellence in Architectural Education and Practice, 2016.
