Background: Hypertension, commonly referred to as high or elevated blood pressure, is a condition characterized by consistently elevated pressure within the blood vessels. Blood flows from the heart through these vessels to all areas of the body. Objectives: To assess the level of physiological parameters among patients with hypertension before and after nursing management strategies. Design: Pre experimental–one group pre and post-test design Setting; Study was conducted at Nalan Hospital it is 15 kms from Dhanvantri College of nursing. It is 150 bedded multi-specialty Hospital, in which OPD daily consulting more than 200 patients and in patient department receiving hypertensive patients per week 70 -80. Selection criteria: Age group between 25 to 65 years. Individuals of both genders with a systolic blood pressure exceeding 140 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure over 90 mmHg. Methods: A total of 30 samples were chosen from patients with hypertension. The population of this present study was patients with hypertension. Results In pre-test (73%, 60%, 100%, and 60%) of them were abnormal systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation. Post-test (67%, 73%, 53%and 100%) of them were normal systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation. Conclusion: From the findings of the study, it can be concluded that, the study concluded that nursing management strategies on physiological parameters was highly effective among patients with Hypertension.
