Retracted Notice

The article “The Development and Legacy of Mughal Architecture in India” by Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, published in the International Journal of Plant Biotechnology, 2025, volume 11, issue 2, has been retracted by the Editorial Office following post-publication review.
After publication, it was determined that the content of the article does not fall within the stated aims and scope of the journal. The International Journal of Plant Biotechnology publishes research in plant biotechnology and related scientific disciplines. The article addresses historical and architectural subject matter that is outside these defined areas.

In order to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record and ensure consistency with the journal’s editorial policies, the decision has been made to retract the article.

The article underwent peer review prior to acceptance. However, subsequent evaluation identified deficiencies in the scope-screening stage of the editorial process. The retraction is issued to correct the scholarly record.

This retraction is based solely on scope misalignment. There is no evidence of research misconduct, data fabrication, plagiarism, or ethical violation associated with the article or the author.
