Abstract

Composite materials are made by combining two or more different materials to make qualities that can’t be gotten from just one of the materials. This article looks at how each part, mainly the matrix and the reinforcement, affects how composites behave and work as a whole. The matrix binds the structure, transfers loads, and provides environmental resistance, while the reinforcement enhances strength, stiffness, and durability. The study emphasizes the significance of material selection, interface bonding, and structural design by examining the interactions of these constituents at both micro and macro levels. The use of customized combinations of ingredients to create new, high-performance materials is shown through examples from the aerospace, automotive, and construction industries. To get the most out of composite systems for certain technical uses, you need to know what each part does.
