Analysis of Non-Uniform Damped Rayleigh BeamResting on Pasternak Foundation Subjected toDistributed Load with Variable Axial ForceBy Jimoh A, Ajoge E. O, Ajiola D. I, Nicholas O.O., Adebiyi A.O., Adepoju I.F.
Abstract: In this paper, damped non-uniform Rayleigh beam resting on Pasternak foundation and subjected to distributed load with variable axial force has been investigated. The solution techniques to the governing equation describing the dynamical system are based on Galerkin’s method, Laplace integral transformation in conjunction with convolution theorem. Galerkin’s method is explored to reduce the fourth order non-homogeneous partial differential equation to a second order ordinary differential equation. The resulting equation …

Dynamics Behaviour of Clamped-Clamped Non-Uniform Elastic Beam on Two Parameters Foundation Under Concentrated Moving LoadBy Jimoh A, Ajiola D. I, Ezeoffor C. D, Abiola Kolawole, O. O, Lasisi F. V
Abstract: This paper presents a computational study on the dynamic response of a clamped–clamped non-uniform elastic beam supported by a two-parameter foundation and subjected to a concentrated moving load. The analysis incorporates the inertial contribution of the moving load. Unlike uniform models, both the mass per unit length and the moment of inertia of the beam are assumed to vary along the span LLL. The governing equations are solved using the …
