Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is a global epidemic, with 537 million individuals affected worldwide in 2021, projected to rise to 643 million by 2030 without preventive measures. In India, one in seven diabetic adults resides, and diabetes prevalence rose from 9.3% in 2018 to 9.6% in 2022, projected to reach 10.4% by 2030.
