  Abstract: A study to assess the effectiveness of self-instructional module on selected common obstetric drugs in terms of knowledge among the staff nurses working in selected district hospitals of Gujarat state was conducted using questionnaire to collect the demographic variables and knowledge level of the staff nurse regarding the drug.
