Umesh Kumar Pandey is presently Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department at National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh). He graduated in Civil Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (Rajasthan) in 1987 then Masters in Structural Engineering from Moti Lal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (U.P.) in 2001 and Doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (New Delhi) in 2009.His research interest is dynamics of cracked concrete structures.
