Snehal Nagarsheth, is an urban designer, architect and interior designer. Currently, Professor and Dean of School of Architecture, Anant National University; previously associated with CEPT University, Ahmedabad as a Faculty member for 25 years. During her career, she has engaged in a
collaborative practice and has been associated with diverse projects ranging from designing products to Urbanism. Seeking value in the seemingly ordinary is the thread that runs through her work and allows for the everyday to find room in the gestures of design. Her works have been acknowledged by international publications such as India Modern and many magazines including the last in Domus India 2017. She has been a convenor of two International Seminars SAMVAD -a dialogue and INSIDE FUTURE:
FUTURE INSIDE at the Faculty of Design, CEPT University. She is the co-author Living with Memories: Parsee Dwelling in Early Settlements of Gujarat. In her teaching she follows the tenet that design is about making choices. She instils in her students the freedom to experiment and explore and find anchoring in their own experiences.
