Recent Developments in Nanosensors for Biomedical Applications
Abstract
In recent years, nanosensors have become increasingly popular due to their potential applications in various biomedical fields. These sensors have the ability to detect various biomolecules, ions, and pathogens at the nanoscale level, which is crucial in disease diagnosis and monitoring. The purposeof this article is to provide a comprehensive review of the latest developments in nanosensors for biomedical applications. We focus on the different types of nanosensors, including optical, electrochemical, and mechanical sensors, and their respective advantages and limitations.Additionally, we discuss the use of nanosensors for various biomedical applications, such as monitoring glucose levels, detecting cancer biomarkers, and identifying infectious agents. We also highlight the challenges associated with developing nanosensors for clinical applications, such as biocompatibility and stability. Finally, we discuss future prospects and directions for the development of nanosensors in biomedical applications, including the integration of nanosensors with other technologies such as artificial intelligence and microfluidics. Overall, nanosensors hold great promise for improving the accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of biomedical diagnostics and monitoring, and further research in this field is essential for advancing healthcare.References (33)
