Creating energy system resilience through stand-alone hybrid solar PV-wind energy system - a case study in India
Abstract: A grid-independent hybrid energy system consisting of commercially available solar photovoltaic panels of 250 W peak power rating and micro wind turbines of 30–40 kW power rating has been considered for electricity production at a selected location in India as a case study. The energy system configuration that leads to lowest levelized electricity cost at that location has been identified through parametric analysis. The configuration has been found to have …

HVDC Transmission Line Transient Power Protection: A Review
Abstract: HVDC transmission line is preferred more than HVAC transmission line due to its leading advantages over EHVAC system so HVDC transmission line protection is one of the major concerns in the current power system. The transients are generated in HVDC system during the occurrence of faults. This paper gives a briefing about the transient energy protection scheme for protection of HVDC line. Here, nature of HVDC line during internal and …

Prediction of Adsorption Energies using Machine Learning
Abstract: In this article, we have a much more comprehensive method that promotes the exploration of automated descriptors. Primary component analysis (PCA) with varimax rotation is used to find the strongest minimum range of adsorption energies that can be used as metal descriptors for a given data set. Our findings demonstrate that the mixture of descriptors produced by this method outperforms conventional descriptors such as nuclear carbon, hydrogen and oxygen adsorption …

Analyzing the Probable Solutions of the Effects on Electrical Grid Emerged from EV Charging
Abstract: Electric vehicles are one of the most trending issues in the power system network. Many developed countries have already set their plan to develop corresponding infrastructures to handle the forthcoming huge EV load in the power system. A study has shown that in Britain within 2050, 70% of the vehicles would be converted to electric vehicles. In Bangladesh, electric vehicles are not widely used though, but a good number of …
