Development of Effective Electrodes and Electricity Generation in Continuous Microbial Fuel Cell using Poultry Wastewater
Abstract: The Microbial Fuel Cell was designed for batch and continuous operations and the electrodes were developed using a simple and effective technique known as phase inversion. The different combinations of electrodes were used in the experiment to get the maximum power output and organic matter removal. The poultry wastewater was used as substrate and was comparatively studied with Luria Bertani (LB) solution. The best combination of electrode was found to …

Passive Capillary Flow of Dyed Aqueous Ethanol in the Leakage-Free PMMA Microchannel
Abstract: A single polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic device is fabricated by the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. This device is tested by dyed aqueous ethanol (10% ethanol, 90% dyed water) in leakage-free condition. The passive capillary flow of dyed aqueous ethanol is recorded by a CMOS camera catching 25 frames per second. This work will be useful in commercial bioengineering applications. Keywords: Passive capillary flow, PMMA, Aqueous ethanol, …

The Process of Manufacturing of Pedal Powered Water Purifier
Abstract: Water (constituent of hydrogen & oxygen) is a requirement of everything including humans, animals, plants, & microorganisms. They can’t live without it. Due to Industrial growth & construction development, water is becoming polluted specially in rivers. As well Electricity is extremely erratic in rural and remote areas, thus making conventional water purifiers almost redundant for use. Thus, this project is specifically targeted at such areas like rural & urban where …

Review on the Separation Mechanisms in Microfluidics for Bioengineering Applications
Abstract: In this review, author has mentioned different techniques of separation mechanisms in bioengineering, like passive separation, magnetic separation, electrical separation, optical separation and acoustic separation. The extraction of blood plasma from human whole blood by separating blood cells is a need in biomedical industry. In the recent past, Mukhopadhyay as author has demonstrated different passive techniques to separate the polystyrene microparticles of different sizes in the designed microfluidic laboratory-on-a-chip systems …

AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON HAZARDS OF TOBACCO CHEWING AMONG LABORS IN JAIPUR DISTRICT RAJASTHAN
Abstract: An experimental study conducted on the risks of chewing tobacco among the jobs that work in Jaipur. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of planned planned instructions (PTP) in the knowledge of the dangers of chewing tobacco and to raise awareness about the dangers of chewing tobacco among people. The 60 works were selected through an intentional factory sampling technique in Jaipur and the tool was …
