A Computer Program for Small Signal HEMT or GaAsFET Model in Fiber Optic Receiver Circuit
Abstract: A fully automated program to determine the GaAsFET/HEMT small signal models for use in optical communication front end amplifier circuit is given. The program requires only initial values of parameters which are commonly available in literature determined by experimental procedures and two port analysis theory using analytical formulae. The program was tested by giving starting values within minimum and maximum ranges of parameters obtained by available manufacturer’s data and theoretical …

Wireless Sensor Network: the Challenges of Design and Programmability
Abstract: Wireless sensor network is a group of the smart sensors, each capable of sensing, processing and communicating, but when deployed in the numbers, form a network which collectively monitor the state of physical world. Its applications and potential benefits are tremendous and seem only limited by the imagination. As any technology at its infancy stage, there are plenty of the challenges and obstacles lying ahead. The interdisciplinary nature makes design …

Gain Enhancement of a Filtenna Using Defected Ground Structures Technique
Abstract: This paper presents a compact filtenna with enhanced gain by improving the structural shape of filtenna using defected ground structure(DGS) technique. A filtenna is an integration of a filter and an antenna into a one device. This combination leads to the reduction in the system size, weight cost and complexities. The proposed filtenna consists of a hairpin bandpass filter and a hexagonal-shaped microstrip patch antenna. The filtenna without DGS has …

Design of Transmitter and Receiver to Reduce PAPR and ISI in Multi-Carrier OFDM System: A Review
Abstract: In wireless communication, concept of the parallel transmission of symbols is used to achieve high throughput and better transmission quality. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the techniques for parallel transmission and it converts frequency selective fading channel into N flat fading channels, where N is the number of sub-carriers. orthogonality is maintained by keeping carrier spacing multiple of 1/Ts by using Fourier transform methods, where Ts is …

Simulation and Analysis of 6 Antenna Array at 0.9 GHz GSM Band
Abstract: In this paper comprises simulation of 0.9 GHz Antenna array as well as analysis of various parameters and performance was discussed. This array was made up of by joining 6 identical antennas in serial and parallel both manner. Non DGS technique was adopted for simulate Antenna array. The working resonant frequency of antenna array was 0.9 GHz i.e. GSM Band. The simulation of array was done with the use of …
