Abstract

Abstract

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems have revolutionized various industries, providing professionals with sophisticated tools to design, analyze, and optimize products with greater precision and efficiency. These systems integrate both hardware and software to assist engineers, architects, and designers in creating and manipulating detailed representations of physical objects. This article explores the evolution of CAD systems, their core components, types, and applications across diverse sectors like automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and architecture. We also delve into the benefits and challenges of using CAD systems, highlighting their influence on product development cycles, cost reduction, and innovation. The article further investigates recent advancements, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning, the rise of cloud-based CAD platforms, and future trends in the field. Through this research, we aim to offer an in-depth understanding of CAD systems, their transformative role in modern design workflows, and the technologies shaping their future.
