OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY: (1) To assess the level of knowledge regarding vitamin D deficiency. (2) To find out the occasions between the demographic and variables and level of knowledge regarding Vitamin D deficiency among nursing students. METHOD: In view of the problem under study and to accomplish the objectives, a study was conducted to assess the level of knowledge regarding vitamin D deficiency among BSc nursing students. The sample consist of 100 BSc nursing students in a selected college at Mangalore. Sampling techniques used to select samples was probability simple random sampling technique. The variables of the study reveals that there is no significant association with knowledge score and related demographic variables. INTERPRETATION AND CONCLUSION: The study proved that most of the BSc nursing students have an average level of knowledge on vitamin D deficiency. So we have to give educational practices because it is an effective strategy for providing information and enhancing knowledge level of the BSc nursing students.
