Abstract
In the present study, about 42% of seed oil was obtained from fresh seeds of Sinapis alba (yellow mustard). The oil was not formed in the zone for gelatin degradation. In the present experimentation, the yellow mustard (Sinapis alba L.) seed oil with Trypsin and Proteinase K has shown gelatin degradation. The oil from yellow mustard (Sinapis alba L.) seed oil also contains Carbohydrate, Protein, Cholesterol, Steroids, Terpenoids and Cardiac Glycosides. The seed oil and Petroleum-ether mix with Saccharificated oil (50:50) has shown little activity with Candida, Enterococcus, Pseudomonas and Staphylococcus. A small zone of antimicrobial activity was observed with Petroleum-ether dissolved with microbial oil (50:50). Sinalbin, Sinapic Acid, Canolol, 2-(4-Hydroxiphenyl)acitonitrile are selected as ligands. Sinalbin has shown good binding activity with microbial proteins showing good antimicrobial activity.
