The project aims to address the pressing need for an inclusive and efficient social networking platform tailored specifically for college students. The absence of a dedicated platform has led to challenges in connecting with peers, seniors, and alumni, hindering the exchange of knowledge, opportunities, and support within the college community. The lack of an integrated digital space also limits campus engagement, hinders access to valuable resources, and impedes the development of essential soft skills. The inability to readily access a collaborative network where they may communicate, exchange ideas, look for advice, and investigate prospects is one of the main problems that students encounter. There are frequent information gaps, misunderstandings, and low engagement because of the existing reliance on dispersed communication channels including casual group chats, third-party social media, and solitary academic forums. In addition, the absence of an integrated digital space inhibits campus participation and the visibility of seminars, events, and extracurricular activities, all of which are essential for students’ development on both a personal and professional level. It also makes it more difficult to obtain important resources like study guides, job advertisements, and mentorship programs, which hinder the development of skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions. Without a specialized platform, students lose out on the opportunity to take full advantage of their learning environment for overall growth. To aid academic and professional growth and to create a lively and connected college experience, the project aims to build and execute a social networking platform that is both secure and easy to use.
