Comparative Study of Corrosion Inhibition In Carbon Steel Using Non Ionic Surfactants In Acidic Medium
Abstract: The use of surfactants is one of the numerous ways of protecting a metallic surface from electrochemical oxidation or corrosion. The amphiphilic nature of these surfactants leads to the formation of a protective layer on the metallic surface, effectively minimizing the area of contact between the fluids and the metal, thus inhibiting corrosion. Cationic surfactant like CTAB (Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) has been most commonly used as a corrosion inhibitor, but since …

Use of Pesticides leads to Environmental degradation
Abstract: Pesticides are extensively used for agriculture but residues can reach aquaticecosystems, frequently. They are transferred from pytoplankton to fish and human, ultimately. Pyrethroid insecticides are utilized in place of organochlorine, organophosphorus and carbonate to control different forms of pests and raise yield. Pyrethroid intoxication causes cellular damage and increases freeradicals, which leads to lipid peroxidation and, ultimately, oxidative stress. To reduce damage to environment and biologicalsystems by pesticides should be played attention …

The new method of purification of the industrial waste waters
Abstract: The main problem in the all existing electrofloatation methods of cleaning is the increase of the alkalization space near the cathode that leads to formation of the salts sediments on the cathode as a result of passing of the electric current through the water environment. The salts so tightly cover cathode’s surface that can cause the total curtailment of the process of electrofloatation. This can be explained by the fact …
