Resourced morphological issued to gallium
Abstract: AbstractThis article summarizes some formatives over gallium (Ga) form associated minerals and waste electronic goods. Geological resource has considerations over sea-in-basins performor natural beneficiation from products of volcanic disruptions. Ga as by-product has extracted from fly ash, slags, scraps and wastes, mine tailings, mineral deposits those associate Ga, wastes from Zn, Al plants, flue dusts, and coal ashes. Leaching methods are more protocoled than pyrolysis. Locked in quartz Ga deposits …

Development of Geo-Polymer based Light Weight Bricks
Abstract: Light weight geopolymer bricks were developed during this study. The mix was made with lime sodium silicate and fly ash as ingredients. A maximum shrinkage was observed at CaO lime ratio of 1.0. Bulk densities were also lower at the ratio of 1.0. The maximum cold crushing strength (CCS) value was found at the ratio of 0.745. Increase in mix water decreased the strength. Water content of 24% is recommended …

Synthesis of Zeolites: An Overview
Abstract: Zeolites are microporous, aluminosilicate minerals commonly used as commercial adsorbents and catalysts. Zeolite synthesized from CFA is a minor but interesting product, with high environmental applications. Zeolites may be easily obtained from CFA by relatively cheap and fast conversion processes. This paper provides an overview on the methodologies for zeolite synthesis from CFA, and a detailed description of conventional alkaline conversion processes, with special emphasis on the experimental conditions to …

Impact of Sugarcane Molasses on Compressive Strength and Workability
Abstract: Molasses used as admixture increase the workability, it is a by-product of sugar industry. In this study, mechanical property such as compressive strength and workability of concrete adding fly ash and sugarcane molasses has been investigated. Adding the molasses in concrete increase the compressive strength, delay the initial and final setting time, reduced the bleeding and segregation of concrete and decrease the W/C ratio. The compressive strength test results showed …

Advantage of Microsilica in Concrete Compressive Strength
Abstract: Abstract Microsilica is an undefined sort of silica tidy for the most part gathered in sack house channels as by-result of the silicon and ferro-silicon generation. The paper condenses essential physical and synthetic properties of miniaturized scale silica and utilizes those outcomes for an assessment of small scale silica from a Health Safety and Environment (HSE) point of view. Small scale silica comprises of circular particles with a normal molecule …

A Review on Experimental Investigation of Fibre Reinforced Metakaolin-Based Geopolymer Concrete
Abstract: The development of new binders, as an alternative to Portland cement (PC), by alkaline activation, is a current researcher’s interest. As Concrete is the most commonly used material for construction. The worldwide production of cement has greatly increased after 1990. Production of cement results in a lot of environmental pollution as it involves the emission of CO2 gas. There are many ways to which we can reduce environmental pollution (carbon …

A Study on Self Compacting Concrete using Portland Pozzolana Cement
Abstract: Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a type of highly flowable concrete that fills each and every corner of congested formwork without the need for mechanical vibration as it is placed by means of its own weight. Generally, the SCC is prepared by using Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) with mineral and chemical admixtures. Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) itself contains some amount of fly ash, thus given the motivation to prepare the SCC …

Implications of ceramic – metal matrix compose
Abstract: AbstractThis article summarizes some formatives over WC-metal matrix composite surfacing on hard as well soft alloys. Composite surface has coated by laser, plasma and electroplating. WC-Ni composite has prepared by plasma transferred arc welding on steel surface. Thickness achieved from several mm on small parts to thin deposits on large surfaces. Cu-substrate accorded WC-Ni laser cladded deposition. Laser deposition of WC-Ni-NiCr on stainless has increased wear and erosion under flowing …
