A Mini Review on Copper Nanoparticles
Abstract: The synthesis of metal nanoparticles is more important than ever. Copper has been recognized as a nontoxic, safe inorganic material, cheaper antibacterial/antifungal agent, and has high potential in a wide range of biological, catalytic and sensors applications more particularly in the form of nanoparticles. This resulted in the development of numerous methods for the synthesis of copper nanoparticles. As conventional methods like chemical and physical methods have several limitations so …

Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Studies Using X-Beam Crystal Structures Which Utilizes (1) Cu Kα Data with Synchrotron Data
Abstract: The outcomes demonstrate that the complex responds as a bidentate ligand and is bound to the metal particle through the two oxygen iotas of the ligand (HL). The enactment energies, ΔE*, entropies ΔS*, enthalpies ΔH* and request of responses have been gotten from differential thermo-gravimetric (DTA) bends. In light of hindrance zone breadth estimations, the complex showed noteworthy antibacterial movement against both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. It additionally displayed …

Synthesis of chitosan mediated nanoparticles and its antimicrobial activity
Abstract: In this study, chitosan nanoparticles were synthesized from chitosan polymer by ionic gelation method. The chitin was first extracted from crab shell and then deacetylated to chitosan. The presence and characterization of chitosan nanoparticles was investigated by UV-Visible Spectroscopy (UV) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The antimicrobial property of these chitosan nanoparticles were studied against E.coli, S.aureus, S.typhi, P.aureginosa, C.albicans and A.niger and compare with chitosan polymer. CSNPs showed higher …

Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous leaf extract of Muntingia calabura Linn.
Abstract: The present study was focused to synthesis silver nanoparticles using the aqueous leaf extract of Muntingia calabura L. as the reducing agent. The formation of silver nanoparticles was confirmed by colour change from light yellow to dark brownish red, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, FT-IR, X-Ray Diffraction Method (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray microanalysis spectroscopy (EDS). The nanoparticles showed an absorbance at 443nm on UV-Visible spectroscopy. The presence of …

Facile Fabrication of Durable Superhydrophobic Coatings on SS 304 for biomedical applications
Abstract: A simple and effective method to fabricate durable superhydrophobic coatings by combining shot-blasting and depositing sol-gel nanocomposite coatings on stainless steel SS 304 substrates has been investigated. Shot-blasting was used for two purposes; 1) as a method of physical modification for creating microscale roughness on the substrate and 2) for improving the adhesion of the nanocomposite coatings deposited thereafter. Organic-inorganic hybrid hydrophobic silica sol was synthesized where silica nanoparticles were …

Chemical Synthesis & study of Silver Nano Particles
Abstract: Silver nanoparticles easily interact with other particles and increases their antibacterial efficiency furthermore due to their attractive chemical, physical and optical properties has received considerable attention of the researcher. In this paper silver nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical reduction method using silver salt AgNO3 and using reducing agent NaBH4. The borohydride anions were adsorbed onto silver nanoparticles and addition of PVP prevented the aggregation of silver nanoparticles. A yellow colour …
