Psychological Impacts of Built Environments in Varied Office Types: A Survey–Literature Comparative Analysis
Abstract: Modern workplaces are no longer just places to sit and work – they are environments that shape how people think, feel, and perform every single day. A well-designed office can energize, calm, or motivate its users, while a poorly designed one can quietly drain their focus and well-being. This study examines how lighting, ventilation, acoustics, privacy, greenery, and spatial layout influence the psychological experience of office users. Insights from 20 …

Liquid-Liquid Extraction Strategies for the Isolation of Bioactive Heterocyclic Compounds
Abstract: Liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) is a widely employed technique for the isolation of bioactive heterocyclic compounds from natural products, fermentation broths, and synthetic mixtures. The efficiency of LLE depends on several factors, including solvent selection, pH manipulation, salting-out effects, and temperature control. Conventional solvent systems, such as water-organic solvent pairs, are commonly used, while advanced strategies, including ionic liquids (ILs), deep eutectic solvents (DESs), ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE), and microwave-assisted extraction (MAE), …

Role of Bioactive Compounds on Protein Utilization in Ruminants: A Review
Abstract: Insufficient nutrition is the primary drive of low productivity by ruminants. These insufficiencies can be corrected by supplementation with high-density feeds and locally available tree legumes. These tree legumes contain various types of bioactive compounds, which can be defined as secondary plant metabolites (PSM) that are extra nutritional substances having pharmacological or toxicological effects in man and animals. Besides the primary biosynthetic, the secondary metabolites are also produced within the …

In Vitro Evaluation of Bioremediation Capacity of a Commercial Probiotic, Bacillus clausii, for Chromium (VI) and Lead (II) Toxicity
Abstract: Heavy metals cause disastrous effects on any living organisms. Probiotics have the ability to reduce metal toxicity. Commercial probiotics having bioremediation capacity can use these bacteria as an alternative to conventional remediation methods. The bioaccumulation of heavy metals including chromium (VI) (Cr [VI]) and lead (II) (Pb [II]) causes fatal toxicity in humans. Some naturally occurring bacterial species, such as Bacillus and Pseudomonas, contribute their role in bioremediation of these …

Chemical Process of Diamonds and CVD Methods
Abstract: Many times, first-order kinetics can be seen in gas-phase decomposition events. However, it is now known that such reactions are actually governed by bimolecular processes. Bimolecular collisional activation to an energy sufficient for decomposition sets off the reaction. Gas-phase processes occurring in catalytic cycles are also to blame for the development of the ozone hole in the polar stratosphere in the spring, albeit heterogeneous mechanisms must also be taken into …
