Synthesis and Characterization of CdS Nanoparticles for LED Application
Abstract: In the present work we have synthesized the size tuned CdS nanoparticles with chemical routes method. Size of the nanoparticle tuned with varying the addition of an appropriate quantity of capping agent. UV spectroscopy used to study the variation of optical properties with tuning the size of nanoparticle. EMA and TBM techniques are used to analyze size and band gap of the quantum dots.

Structural and Optical Study of CdSe Q-dots
Abstract: In this paper we have report the properties of CdSe Q-dots. Calculations of different parameters for different sizes of CdSe Q-dots are presented. The XRD analysis used to find the composition, crystal structure and crystallite size. Scherrer equation is used to calculate the Nano crystallite size. XRD analysis reveals that the CdSe QD crystallite sizes in the sample are 3.26 nm, 3.72 nm, and 3.20 nm by applying the appropriate …

Synthesis of White Light Emitting Water-soluble CdZnS Quantum Dots at Room Temperature
Abstract: Water-soluble alloyed CdZnS quantum dots (QDs) have been successfully prepared at room temperatures by reacting a mixture of Cd(CH3COO)2 and Zn(CH3COO)2 with Na2S using thiolactic acid (TLA) as a surface capping agent. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra of the alloyed QDs are determined on the basis of the Cd2+/Zn2+ molar ratio, reaction pH, intrinsic Cd2+and Zn2+reactivities toward Na2S and the concentration of capping agent. A systematic blue shift in emission wavelength …
