ABS Manufacturing Technologies and Its Industrial Applications- A Review
Abstract: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene [ABS] is a widely used thermoplastic polymer known for its excellent balance of strength, impact resistance, and ease of processing. Its versatile properties make it a preferred material in industries such as automotive, electronics, construction, and consumer goods. This article explores the chemistry of ABS, highlighting the roles of acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene in determining its mechanical and thermal properties. Various manufacturing technologies, including emulsion polymerization and …

Increase the Shear Strength of Soil Using Bitumen Emulsion to Strengthening of Sub-structure
Abstract: Soil is one in all the nature’s most abundant construction materials. The majority style of construction is built with or upon the soil. If the sub grade isn't enough sensible, the complete structure can face failure like cracks. So, the sub grade is often replaced with stronger material so as to improve the strength however this can be not economical. During this project the strength of soil is exaggerated by …

A Detailed Lumped Model for Vinyl Acetate Emulsion Polymerization
Abstract: Abstract A mathematical model was developed to simulate emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate monomer in isothermal, batch and semi-batch reactors. The recipe components included monomer (vinyl acetate), initiator (potassium persulfate), surfactant (sodium dodecyl sulfate) and water as the dispersion medium. The two important phenomena, particle nucleation and particle growth, were modeled in adequate detail. The mechanistic details included: particle formation via micellar nucleation; coupling of the radical concentration in the …

A Model to Study the Effect of Homogeneous Nucleation and Emulsifier Amounts on Methyl Methacrylate Emulsion Polymerization in a Seeded Semi-batch Reactor
Abstract: ABSTRACTAn extensive model is developed for methyl methacrylate emulsion polymerization. The assumption of monodispersed particle size distribution is used in developing the model. It is found that inclusion of homogeneous nucleation in the model leads to under prediction of variation of conversion with time. The effects of three different emulsifier amounts on the variation of conversion with time at 50°C isothermal reactor operation, keeping all the other ingredients constant are …

Features of Nanoflotation Technique – A Review
Abstract: ABSTRACT Flotation method is majorly availed in two sectors: mining industry (for separation of metal ores) and in wastewater treatment process (both for municipal and industrial wastewaters) for separation of suspended solids, emulsions, chemical sludge or excess sludge. Traditional flotation relies on floating of solids (mainly suspended solids) on the top of the liquid by air bubbles (in conventional process they have and average diameter of 100–300 μm). Better separation …

A Review Paper on Novel Lipid Nanoparticles for Enhanced Bioavailability of Bioactive Compounds in Breast Cancer Cell Lines
Abstract: Most bioactive compounds from natural products are heavily relied on drug development due to their biological, chemical and pharmacological properties. Some compounds exhibiting anticancer properties have also been reported. However, they present a challenge in achieving the effective absorption and delivery in the body. This is due to minimal bioavailability, fluctuation of plasma drug concentration, low tolerance, first-pass effect which leads to less desired efficacy. Therefore, this calls for an …
