Hydroxyapatite, Synthesis of Numerous Cds Quantum Dot Composite Material: A Review
Abstract: Hydroxyapatite is one of most interesting material which is used as chemical sensor for detecting different hazardous gases. It is a bio-ceramic and non-toxic maerial for which it is widely used in bio-engineering. On the other side, CdS quantum dot is very important material in optoelectronic device fabrication for its fascinating optical, physical and electronic properties. Furthermore, scientist are also doing their research very widely on CdS quantum dot for …

Nanostructured Hydroxyapatite: A Biomimetic Revolution in Enamel Regeneration and Remineralization
Abstract: Background Dental caries and erosive enamel wear remain among the most common chronic conditions worldwide, affecting more than 2 billion people and contributing to pain, tooth loss, and substantial economic costs. Conventional fluoridebased strategies reduce demineralization but do not fully restore enamel microstructure. Source and selection of data We searched MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane Library for in vitro, in situ, and clinical studies on nanohydroxyapatite (nHAp) used for enamel …

Synthesis, characterization, antibacterial activity and in-vitro cytotoxicity of Dy and Fe doped hydroxyapatite nanomaterials
Abstract: Dy- and Fe-doped hydroxyapatite (HAp) was synthesized by the facile aqueous precipitation method. The samples were characterized by using powder X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. In this work, the antibacterial activities of Dy- and Fe-doped HAp were tested against gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis) and gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas putida) bacteria by agar diffusion test. It was found that Dy(5)-and Fe(5)-doped HAp …

Recent Advances in Aquasomes Carrier Nanotechnology for Drug Delivery
Abstract: Aquasomes are a nanobiopharmaceutical carrier device with nanocrystalline calcium phosphate or ceramic diamond particle center and a polyhydroxyl oligomeric film covering them. Aquasomes are spherical 60–300 nm objects that are used to deliver drugs and antigens. It was an effective carrier mechanism for bioactive molecules such as peptides, proteins, hormones, antigens, and genes to particular locations because of properties such as defense and preservation of fragile biological molecules, conformational integrity, …

Nanotechnology-Enabled Non-Invasive Teeth Whitening: Safety, Efficacy, and Regulatory Perspectives with a Focus on India, Asia, and Developed Countries
Abstract: Demand for tooth whitening is growing worldwide, but conventional peroxide-based bleaching is associated with dentin hypersensitivity, enamel softening, and soft tissue irritation, especially under repeated or high-concentration use. Nanotechnology offers a new class of non-invasive whitening strategies that aim to combine esthetic improvement with enamel protection and remineralization. Among these, nanohydroxyapatite (nanoHAP) toothpastes and gels have the most advanced evidence base; in vitro and in situ studies indicate that nanoHAP …

Recent Trends in Bio Ceramic and Polymer Compositesfor Biomedical and Dental Applications
Abstract: Advanced biomaterials with great promise for use in dental and biomedical applications are bio-ceramic and polymer composites. These composites combine the flexibility, biodegradability, and processability of polymers with the mechanical strength, bioactivity, and biocompatibility of bio-ceramics. Clinical success is often limited by the biological response and tissue compatibility of conventional materials such as metals and single-phase ceramics. Oste conductivity and bone-like characteristics are exhibited by bio-ceramic materials, such as hydroxyapatite …
