Two-dimensional MoS2 Nanosheets: Preparation and Characterization
Abstract: The amazing properties and useful applications of graphene in the field of sensors, electronics and material science opens a new challenges to other two dimensional semiconductor materials. Specially due to extraordinary electronic, mechanical and optical properties, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is attracting huge interest in several applications. Single layer MoS2 with direct band gap shows better semiconductor behavior such as photoluminescence, makes them more acceptable in optoelectronic applications in comparison with …

FESEM and HRTEM Analysis of ACNT-MoS2 Nanohybrids
Abstract: Material characterization is very important aspect of material science for characterizing the material. Specially field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) are very useful for characterize the nano-structured material. Here amorphous carbon nanotube – MoS2 nanohybrids were characterized by using FESEM and HRTEM method. Amorphous carbon nanotube-MoS2 nanohybrids were prepared through hydrothermal method using amorphous carbon nanotube, hexaammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate and thiourea as main …

Amorphous Carbon Nanotube-MoS2 Nanohybrids : A New Future Material in the Application of Battery, Supercapacitor and Field-emission Display Devices
Abstract: The discovery of graphene make the researcher interested towards the other two-dimensional material which has quite similar properties like graphene. Among them, MoS2 nanosheets has extraordinary optoelectronic and physical properties. It has several applications in developing battery, sensor, optoelectronic device etc. On the other hand, amorphous carbon nanotube can be synthesized by using a low temperature chemical process. Due to the easy processing of amorphous carbon nanotube (ACNT), good optoelectronic …

Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using Zingiber officinalae and Evaluation of cervical cancer activity
Abstract: This research focused on evaluating the potential anti-cervical cancer properties of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) that were synthesized using an aqueous extract derived from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale (ginger). The synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were thoroughly characterized using a range of analytical techniques, including Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM).Characterization studies revealed that the synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) exhibited an average …

Effect of MoS2 Nanosheets on ACNT-MoS2 Nanohybrids
Abstract: Here amorphous carbon nanotube – molybdenum disulfide nanohybrids were prepared using hydrothermal method. Here the amount of thiourea and hexaammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate were taken in two different amount such as 2.34g:1.28g and 4.68g:2.46g. The amount of amorphous carbon nanotube were kept at 0.5g of fixed amount. Finally the two as prepared nanohybrids were characterized by using field emission scanning electron microscope method.

Synthesis and Characterization of Cesium Intercalated Graphene Thin Film
Abstract: Graphene Oxide (GO) becomes promising two-Dimensional (2D) material in optoelectronics due to its sparkling properties. In preparation step we used Carboxylation of graphene and vacuum filtration to create the free standing thin film of cesium (Cs) intercalated GO. In this work we have synthesized cesium (Cs) intercalated GO thin films at different concentration (0.03, 0.05, 0.1 mol %) by using vacuum filtration method. The functional group present in synthesized thin …

Low Temperature Chemical Synthesis of Nickel Oxide Microflower and Study of its Optical and Thermal Properties
Abstract: A simple rout for the synthesis of flower like nickel oxide nanostructure has been reported using nickel sulphate and potassium per-sulphate as precursor. Efforts were made to see the effect of persulfate amount on different properties of the materials thus two samples were synthesized with different amount of per-sulphate precursors. The as prepared samples were characterized by x-ray diffraction, field emission scanning and transmission electron microscope, thermal gravimetric and differential …

Review of Silicon Reactivity of Self-assembled monolayer and its Properties
Abstract: In most cases, the assumption of perfect high viscosity between silicon and silver underlies the modelization of silicene on Ag(111). According to recent reports, growth does not take place on top of the Ag(111) terraces, but rather within the first layer of them. In this article, we present the results of a study that combines scanning tunnelling microscopy and density functional theory to simulate the nucleation process and reveal the …
