Study of Electrical Polarization of Some Elements:The Effect of Displacement
Abstract: Electrical polarization is an essential phenomenon for material science, portraying the response of a material to the external electric field. This conceptual review has provided a model-based approach to understanding electrical polarization, The following elements as stated considered in this research, such as potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), scandium (Sc), titanium (Ti), vanadium (V) and chromium (Cr). Monitoring electrical polarization is the goal of this study. The electrical polarization model is …

Study on the Root Cause of Fuel Tanker Truck Accidents in Nigeria: Reliability of Accidents Caused by Human Factors (HF)
Abstract: Accidents involving transportation of petroleum products by road are of high frequency in Nigeria, mainly because of overdependence on the tanker-truck system due to pipeline vandalism. We analyzed over 92 accidents involving tankers-trucks from 2014 to 2019. In this study, the analysis is done to examine the factors that caused the accident using accident records and petroleum distribution data from the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC). Petroleum tanker-truck accident reports …

Experimental Study on Effect of Momentum Transfer Hydrocarbon Degradation in Stream System
Abstract: This research work demonstrates the significance of individual hydrocarbon degradation in a flowing stream system and the effect of the momentum transfer on the concentration of the individual hydrocarbon was examined on the influence of period of exposure (time) on the environment as well as the distance of dispersion. The substrate concentration variation was monitored with respect to time and distance as well as reciprocal of the substrate established by …

Study on the Significance of Water Treatment Using Activated Carbon from Palm Bunch Fiber
Abstract: Activated carbon produced from palm bunch fibers was investigated for water treatment with the aim to improve water quality for industrial consumption and not for humans and animal consumption. Dominantly the activated carbon produced from palm bunch fiber was used for treatment of industrial effluent water and the application is environmental friendly. The high alkali concentration in the activated carbon improved the pH level of the treated water from 4.03 …
