• Prematurity & Preterm Birth Nursing: preterm birth prevention strategies and interventions, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and respiratory complications in preterm infants, neurodevelopmental outcomes in preterm infants, growth monitoring and developmental support, caffeine and pharmacologic management in preterm infants, follow-up care for children born preterm, and outcomes into adulthood
• Birth Defects & Congenital Abnormalities: congenital malformation assessment and classification, prevention strategies and maternal interventions, genetic abnormalities and inherited conditions, birth defect outcomes and quality of life, infant mortality reduction, and family support and early intervention
• Basic Neonatal Care & Nursing: NICU environment and developmental care, parent-infant interaction and bonding, infant-directed communication and parent education, music therapy and sensory interventions in neonatal care, very low birth weight infant care, neonatal nursing research and quality improvement, and disparities in neonatal care outcomes
