Green synthesis of Copper nanoparticles using Ctenolepis garcini (Burm.f.) C.B Clarke.
Abstract: Copper nanoparticles, due to the excellent physical and chemical properties and low cost of preparation, have been of great interest in wide applications as heat transfer systems, antimicrobial materials, super strong materials, sensors and catalysts. The present study is a novel biological approach for the formation of copper nanoparticles using Ctenolepis garcinii (Burm.f.) C.B Clarke. Copper nitrate was made to reduce with aqueous solution of plant extract. UV-Visible spectrum showed …

Nanotechnology Based Drug Delivery System in Tuberculosis: Review
Abstract: From near the beginning centuries to present life Tuberculosis remains the world-wide disease without any limitations. In the other hand, in some cases in the infected individuals the disease remains in a dormant state. In this stage the treatment is hard as the lipid mycobacterial wall is thick & the delivery of drug inside the bacterial cell is difficult. Due to this new face of TB it becomes the major …

A Magic Bullet – Nano-Robots in HIV and AIDS Treatment
Abstract: AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a syndrome caused by HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and attacks the T-cells (CD-4 cells and macrophages) leads to progressive detoriation of immnue system. Emerging nanotechnology using nanorobots to provide more effective treatment and prevention for HIV/AIDS by advancing antiretroviral therapy, microbicides, gene therapy, immunology and vaccinology therapy. It has no side effect and operates at specific site only.Nano-Robots initial design cost is very high. Recent …

Synthesis of chitosan mediated nanoparticles and its antimicrobial activity
Abstract: In this study, chitosan nanoparticles were synthesized from chitosan polymer by ionic gelation method. The chitin was first extracted from crab shell and then deacetylated to chitosan. The presence and characterization of chitosan nanoparticles was investigated by UV-Visible Spectroscopy (UV) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The antimicrobial property of these chitosan nanoparticles were studied against E.coli, S.aureus, S.typhi, P.aureginosa, C.albicans and A.niger and compare with chitosan polymer. CSNPs showed higher …

Biosensor: Recent Advances and Potential in Biomedical Applications
Abstract: A powerful and innovative device used for detection of biological elements is referred as “biosensor”. It gives useful information whether or not the analyte is present and at what level is transduced into an electrical signal that can be amplified, displaced and analyzed. In medicine, biosensor can be used to measure glucose [1], diagnosis pathogenic/cancer disease [2], biomedicine and drug delivery applications [3].

Nanotechnology based solutions for control of Agricultural pests
Abstract: Application of nanotechnology for the control of agricultural pests is an emerging field of research. It is driven by the realization that they are more effective and are equally competent in terms of their biocidal potential and that too at significantly low concentrations as compared to conventional pesticides. Unscrupulous application of larger volumes of chemical pesticides has many harmful effects including, acute toxicity to animals and human beings (up on …
