Fusion Interior Design represents a creative and dynamic approach to creating spaces that are both harmonious and functional by blending diverse design styles, cultural influences, and historical elements. Unlike conventional interiors that adhere to a single stylistic direction, fusion interiors celebrate eclecticism while maintaining balance and coherence. This study examines the principles, strategies, and impacts of fusion design within both residential and commercial contexts. Through an analysis of case studies and emerging design trends, the research identifies key methods for successfully integrating varied aesthetics such as the thoughtful use of transitional elements, layering of textures, and the juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary motifs. The research further explores how fusion interiors influence users psychologically and culturally, emphasizing the importance of materiality, color palettes, spatial configurations, and symbolic motifs in shaping user experience. Fusion spaces often promote a sense of identity and belonging by embedding cultural narratives while also enabling personalization and flexibility. At the same time, this study highlights critical challenges such as ensuring cultural authenticity, avoiding superficial appropriation, maintaining environmental sustainability, and striking a balance between contrasting design elements. The findings suggest that when executed carefully, fusion interiors foster creativity, inclusivity, and adaptability in contemporary living and working environments. By providing a framework for integrating diverse influences without sacrificing functionality or coherence, fusion design contributes to the evolving discourse on innovation in interior architecture.
