Abstract
Fiber is an essential component in modern science and daily life, contributing significantly to both human health and technological advancement. In Dietary fiber is an essential component of nutrition that contributes significantly to overall health and disease prevention. It is mainly derived from plant-based sources including fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and whole grains. Fiber supports healthy digestion, enhances bowel regularity, prevents constipation, and promotes the growth of beneficial intestinal microorganisms. Furthermore, adequate fiber intake assists in controlling blood glucose levels, reducing cholesterol levels, and lowering the likelihood of chronic health conditions such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and digestive disorders. Therefore, incorporating sufficient fiber into the daily diet is important for sustaining good health and ensuring long-term physiological benefits. Beyond its dietary significance, fiber also holds considerable importance in scientific and technological fields. Optical fiber technology has revolutionized communication systems by facilitating fast and efficient data transmission across long distances with very low signal attenuation. Due to their speed, accuracy, and reliability, optical fibers are extensively utilized in telecommunications, internet connectivity, medical imaging equipment, sensing technologies, and defense-related applications. The advancement of fiber-based technologies has significantly improved global connectivity and information exchange. This article emphasizes the dual significance of fiber in human health and technological development. Understanding the diverse applications and benefits of fiber can help individuals adopt healthier lifestyles while also appreciating its contribution to scientific and industrial progress. Thus, fiber remains a valuable element that supports both biological health and modern technological innovation.
