The decomposition of tris-(oxalato)-manganate (III) complex ion as the reaction suitable for the laboratory practice on chemical kinetics
Abstract: The complex ion [Mn(C2O4)3]3- is very photosensitive and rapidly decomposes at the daylight even at ambient temperatures. Although the mechanism of this reaction is complicated, its kinetic equation obeys the pseudo-first order. In addition, the tris-(oxalate)-manganate ion has a low thermal stability, and the reaction of its decomposition is highly affected by temperature. This makes this reaction very suitable for demonstrating the laws of chemical kinetics to the students – …

AN OUTLINE OF KINETICS VERSUS THERMODYNAMICS CHEMISTRY
Abstract: Nearly all chemical reactions has a kinetic and a thermodynamic feature. The terms ‘kinetic’ and ‘thermodynamic’ though inter-related are two diverse aspects of a chemical reaction. This paper represents an outline of the underlying relationships between the two through application to chemical reactions and an example from natural processes. Novel method for determination of kinetic constants from dynamics in a batch reactor with constant heat input rate
Abstract: In this article a novel method of obtaining reaction kinetic constants is described. Study the Corrosive Effect of Greenhouse Gases on Metallic and Non-metallic Materials
Abstract: Carbon dioxide is a major corrosive pollutant for building materials. It enters inside materials by diffusion or osmosis process and in presence of moisture it produces H2CO3 which decrease the pH value and accelerates chemical and electrochemical reaction with building materials. The carbonation reaction produces deterioration inside and outside of building materials. It produces corrosion reaction with metallic bar and disbanding with concrete. CO2 reacts with Ca (OH)2 and Mg(OH)2 …

Abstract: Buildings consume a major chunk of total energy. Operational and Embodied energy are two components through which energy is consumed in a building. For a typical building its operational energy has to be controlled because it is consumed throughout the building’s life. In traditional buildings, energy saving measures were more passive but now days, increasing energy consumption in building requires active measures to be incorporated. Therefore, to prevent buildings from …

Chemical Process of Diamonds and CVD Methods
Abstract: Many times, first-order kinetics can be seen in gas-phase decomposition events. However, it is now known that such reactions are actually governed by bimolecular processes. Bimolecular collisional activation to an energy sufficient for decomposition sets off the reaction. Gas-phase processes occurring in catalytic cycles are also to blame for the development of the ozone hole in the polar stratosphere in the spring, albeit heterogeneous mechanisms must also be taken into …
