Advance in the Synthesis of Oxadiazole Based Heterocyclic Compound
Abstract: The five members of the heterocyclic ring 1,3,4-oxadiazole are necessary for the production of strong bioactive molecules. Numerous pharmacological effects, including anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticancer, antitubercular, anticonvulsant, anti-HIV, hypoglycemic, and antioxidant qualities, are exhibited by this intriguing class of chemicals. We have created four novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds in the continuing study, which are sourced from the NSAID Ibuprofen. Melting point analysis and TLC were used to verify the compounds' purity. Low Storage Time of Cassava (Manihot esculenta) in Northern Peru: A qualitative approach
Abstract: Introduction: Manihot esculenta (Cassava, Mandioca or Yuca) is a starchy staple source of nutrients around the globe. In Peru the produce can be harvested in the Coast, Highlands and Jungle regions of the Country. Relative fast deterioration of the harbested root has been observed for many decades now. Materials and Methods: A qualitative approach was designed to investigate perishability of the produce after harbest through open interviews directed to Cassava …

Quantum Dots in Oral Diagnostics and Theranostics: Promise and Preclinical Status
Abstract: Quantum dots in oral diagnostics and theranostics represent a rapidly evolving, largely preclinical strategy that couples highly sensitive optical imaging with targeted therapeutic delivery in the oral cavity. Their size-dependent emission, high photostability, and broad excitation spectra allow bright, multiplexed visualization of key molecular events in oral potentially malignant disorders and oral squamous cell carcinoma, while surface functionalization with antibodies, peptides, or smallmolecule ligands enables selective binding to dysplastic and …

Screening the Effects of Asphalt Plant Discharge Water on Germination Indices of Some Edible Vegetables
Abstract: The study aims to determine the effects of asphalt plant discharge water containing different compounds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on germination parameters of viable seeds of Telfairia occidentalis Hook. F, Corchorus olitorius and Solanum macrocarpon L. in a screen house. The experiment was laid out in a completely randomized design with five replicates. A 300 ml of asphalt plant discharge water obtained from the three different locations (T2, T3, and …

In Vitro Evaluation of Bioremediation Capacity of a Commercial Probiotic, Bacillus clausii, for Chromium (VI) and Lead (II) Toxicity
Abstract: Heavy metals cause disastrous effects on any living organisms. Probiotics have the ability to reduce metal toxicity. Commercial probiotics having bioremediation capacity can use these bacteria as an alternative to conventional remediation methods. The bioaccumulation of heavy metals including chromium (VI) (Cr [VI]) and lead (II) (Pb [II]) causes fatal toxicity in humans. Some naturally occurring bacterial species, such as Bacillus and Pseudomonas, contribute their role in bioremediation of these …
