Role of Nanotechnology in Homoeopathy
Abstract: The word Homoeopathy is derived from the Greek words ‘hómoios’ meaning similar and ‘páthos’ means suffering. Recently the development been done by several researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay, and have discovered that nanotechnology is the very basis of homoeopathic treatments. There were several study been done in order to find a relation between Homoeopathy and Nanotechnology and according to IIT scientists the homeopathic medicines work on the …

Fabrication, Microstructure and Mechanical Behavior of Aluminum Alloy (LM-13) Reinforced with Nano-ZrO2 Particulate Chilled Nano-Metal Matrix Composites (CNMMCs)
Abstract: In the present research, aluminum alloy (LM13) Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) is prepared by stir casting technique and is reinforced with ZrO2 particulates in the weight percent ranging from 3 wt.% to 12 wt.% in the steps of 3 wt.%. The reinforcement i.e., ZrO2 particle size added varies between 100–200 nm. The resulting CNMMCs are solidified under the influence of copper chill of 25 mm thickness to study the effect …

Sensing Capabilities of Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composite Integrated With Electrical Inserts
Abstract: This paper describes the attempts made in developing a passive smart material by the integration of electrical inserts in the FRP components and studying the electrical & mechanical behavior under different loading conditions. FRPs are fabricated with copper inserts and are tested to study the resistive and capacitive behaviors of prepared specimens. FRP components are also tested for tensile, bending, compression and impact strengths to determine the effect of metal …

Parameter Optimization of Electro Discharge Machining of AISI P20 Steel Material
Abstract: In this paper, the cutting of P20 Steel material using electro discharge machining (EDM) with a copper electrode by applying Taguchi methodology has been reported. The Taguchi method is used to formulate the experimental layout, to analyze the effect of each parameter on the machining characteristics, and to predict the optimal choice for each EDM parameter for example peak current, gap voltage, duty cycle and pulse on time. It is …

Cooling and Heating Effect of Geothermal Energy and Its Thermal Analysis Using Air as a Flow Medium
Abstract: Geothermal energy is one of the renewable sources of energy, which exists free in the environment. The main concept of a geothermal energy is the thermal energy of the ground which is used for cooling and heating. Here, air is used as a flow medium. The flow medium gets cool in the summer and gets heated in the winter due to the temperature difference between the flow medium and underground …

Analysis and Simulation of Computational Fluent Dynamic on Thermo-Electro-Mechanical Devices
Abstract: It is a universal truth that no exponential growth will last forever. In the present scenario, energy is avital part of development in environment. As the law of conservation of energy “Energy can neither becreated nor can be destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another”. Unfortunately, any energy policy that produces improvements in the short term is often one that destroys theenvironment in the long run. Here …

Consume Amla, the Wonder Berry – See Big Improvement in Health
Abstract: The Indian Amla fruit tastes sour, but it is very nourishing. Both dried and fresh fruits have health benefits. Many health problems are caused by oxidative damage. Antioxidant agents prevent and repair these damages. Vitamin C is a good antioxidant agent. It contains vitamin C, which is nearly 20 times the vitamin C in oranges. Amla lose none of the vitamin C in the cooking process. It is rich in …
