Intertwining Brushes and Blueprints: The Legacy of Architect Oswaldo Muñoz Mariño
Abstract: This research explores the profound interrelationship between the architectural and artistic production of Oswaldo Muñoz Mariño, who lived from 1914 to 2009. This Ecuadorian pioneer’s work exemplifies the synergy between both disciplines during the 1950s and 1970s. Despite his relevance, the systematic interaction between these facets has been underexplored. The study analyzes three emblematic works: the Quito City Hall project from 1958, the Prometeo Theater from 1966, and the Residential …

Antenna and Beam-Control Optimization of RIS-Assisted 6G Links: Phase Resolution, Directivity and Energy Efficiency
Abstract: This paper presents an antenna-oriented investigation of reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted sixth- generation (6G) wireless links, emphasizing practical design factors beyond conventional RIS versus non-RIS bit-error-rate comparisons. Four parameters are evaluated: phase-shifter resolution, reflected-beam directivity, aperture-dependent spectral efficiency, and controller-aware energy efficiency. A Rayleigh-fading binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) link is used for reliability analysis, while the RIS is modeled as a uniformly spaced reflective aperture through its array factor. The …

Developmental Impact due to the presence of wholesale Market at Koyembedu
Abstract: Urban marketplace (also commonly known as the bazaar, traditional market, public market, etc.) has been recognized in published works as an important economic and cultural place for a city. It has its major wholesale trading activities located in the heart of the city. On-street parking of goods traffic as well as loading and unloading operations has severely affected operational efficiency of traffic and transportation especially in the CBD area. This …

Ferromagnetism in II-VI Diluted Magnetic Semiconductor, Zn0.96Mn0.04O Nanostructures by Green’s Theorem
Abstract: Ferromagnetism in II-VI diluted magnetic semiconductor, Zn0.96Mn0.04O is studied. Using the Heisenberg principle, the spin exchange between the neighboring spin is discussed. Heisenberg’s model describes the Hamiltonian of the system in terms of spin density and excitons. Mathematically, magnetic parameters such as magnetizations and magnetic susceptibility are determined by Green’s function. Ferromagnetism is expected from sp-d exchange interactions (RKKY), point defects such as oxygen vacancies, and Zn interstitial and quantum …

Smart and Self-sufficient Villages as Backbone to Development: A Case of Indian Heritage Architecture
Abstract: Fast pace of urban development supported by high rate of migration is a threat to sustainability of villages for developing countries like India that is primarily based on agriculture. On one hand, pressure on urban system is increasing multifold and on the other hand, villages are in a dying state of condition. Limited economic opportunities, lack of infrastructure facilities, inefficient performance of central or state level beneficiary provisions and insensitive …

Remedial Garden: Healthy Environment with Medical Plants in Landscape
Abstract: The Persian garden is a system including natural elements which can prepare the physical needs beside the psychological and remedial parameters. On the other hand, after recognizing disadvantages of chemical drugs and lacking the information about the advantages of medical plants it is clear that people need to know about these plants and have some places for serving them these plants. Regarding the quality of Persian gardens, using the healing …

The new method of purification of the industrial waste waters
Abstract: The main problem in the all existing electrofloatation methods of cleaning is the increase of the alkalization space near the cathode that leads to formation of the salts sediments on the cathode as a result of passing of the electric current through the water environment. The salts so tightly cover cathode’s surface that can cause the total curtailment of the process of electrofloatation. This can be explained by the fact …
