Comparative Analysis of Essential Oil Composition and Antioxidant Activity in Carissa carandas L. Fruits from Diverse Indian Regions Using GC-MS Metabolomics
Abstract: Essential oils of Carissa carandas fruits collected from six different regions in India characterized by diverse climatic conditions were investigated for their chemical composition, oil yield diversity and antioxidant activity. The lowest (0.08%) and the highest (19.32%) of each compound in essential oils were demonstrated in fruit samples from Dehradun and Rajasthan, respectively. GC-MS based analysis identified 33 compounds. The main components were limonene, β-myrcene, γ-terpinene, β-linalool, terpinen-4-ol, eugenol, β-element, …

The Surface Water Resources in Ethiopia: Past, Present and Future
Abstract: Ethiopia has multipart of geography, diversified atmosphere, and huge amount of surface water assets. The Spatial and temporal variation of surface water assets are categorized in different-climate contexts rainfall of a nation. A large portion of the surface water resources available to be occupied the flood their environments among the three standard stormy months (June to August). Although it desires more detailed examination accordingly to the existing data, the country …

Utilizing Remote Sensing and GIS for Water Quality Monitoring
Abstract: The integration of remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) offers a sophisticated approach for monitoring and safeguarding water quality. This review examines how remote sensing technologies and GIS can be combined to observe key water quality indicators, such as turbidity, chlorophyll levels, and surface temperature. Remote sensing provides comprehensive, real-time data, which, when analyzed using GIS, enables detailed spatial examination and visualization of water quality patterns. This synergy enhances …

Comparative Analysis of Air Quality Indices Across Five Eastern States of India Using ML Models and Pollutant Based Insights
Abstract: This paper presents a comparative study of Air Quality Index (AQI) levels in five eastern Indian states–Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura. Using historical data, the study explores the concentration of key pollutants, including PM2.5, PM10, NO2, SO2, CO, and Ozone, highlighting regional variations in air quality. Assam, with its higher levels of urbanization and industrial activity, shows elevated AQI levels, especially for pollutants like PM10 and NO2. In …
