In Vitro Culture and Water Stress Tolerance Assessment in Banana (Musa Paradisiaca L.)
Abstract: This study investigates the in vitro culture and water stress tolerance of Musa paradisiaca L. (Banana) using a systematic approach to explant preparation, sterilization, media preparation, and stress induction. Banana explants were sourced locally and treated to ensure aseptic conditions. Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium, enriched with essential nutrients, vitamins, and plant growth hormones (IAA and BAP), served as the base for culturing. The study applied Polyethylene Glycol (PEG-6000) as …

Somatic Embryogenesis from Immature Zygotic Embryos of Sterculia alata Roxb. and Monitoring the Ontogeny and the Genetic Fidelity of Somatic Embryos
Abstract: A protocol for the induction of somatic embryogenesis from immature zygotic embryos of Sterculia alata was established. The highest induction frequency for somatic embryogenesis was achieved using 3 mm size of zygotic embryos as explants on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 2,4-D (2.0 mgl–1) + BAP (0.1 mgl–1) and 3% sucrose. The embryogenic calli differentiated when transferred to MS basal medium (maintenance medium) after three weeks treatment in …

In-vitro plant regeneration of Mulberry (Morus alba L.)
Abstract: The present investigation entitled “In-vitro plant regeneration of Mulberry (Morus alba L.)” was conducted at Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory of K. K. Wagh College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Nashik, Maharashtra, India. Development of improved protocols for the regeneration of Morus alba L. is important for their commercial utilization. The present study was initiated to optimize in-vitro propagation protocol from nodal culture of Mulberry. Three surface sterilization treatment were used, the nodal …

In Vitro Callus Induction of White Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata Duch.) ‘Casperita’ (F1 Hybrid) through Difference Explants
Abstract: White pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata Duch.) ‘Casperita’ (F1 Hybrid) is a popular pumpkin in many countries, however, it produces unfertile seeds. The current study determined the appropriated concentrations of 2,4-D (2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid) and BAP (6-Benzylaminopurine) on callus induction using various explants as hypocotyl, epicotyl, cotyledons, petiole, and leaf. Sterilized explants were cultured on MS media with various concentrations of 2,4-D (0 and 2 mg/L) and BAP (0, 0.1, 0.3 and …

Enhancing Walkability in Ludhianas Industrial Growth Centre A Comprehensive Analysis and Recommendations
Abstract: The manufacturing sector is pivotal to economic development, and the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in India's growth. Ludhiana, known as the "Manchester of India," is home to a significant industrial cluster with various industries, drawing workers from different states. However, the pedestrian infrastructure in this industrial hub is inadequate, leading to a challenging and often unsafe walking experience. This research paper explores the concept …

Monitoring of the Physicochemical Properties of Some Important Parameters That Induce Metal Corrosion in Water Medium
Abstract: This investigation addresses the effect of freshwater quality on metal corrosion in Choba river located in Obio/Akpo Local Government Area of Rivers State of Nigeria. The research involves the use of four different metal coupons namely Carbon Steel (CBS-D), Mild Steel (MS-B), Stainless Steel (SST-C), and Copper Steel (CPS-A). The different metal coupons were immersed in the freshwater medium and the freshwater medium is contaminated with industrial activities. The rate …

Influence of CeO2 nanoparticles on the corrosion behavior of electrodeposited Ni coatings
Abstract: Nickel-Ceria (Ni-CeO2) nanocomposite coatings were developed on mild steel (MS) substrate using electrodeposition method. The codeposition of the nanoparticles was achieved from the optimized Ni plating bath loaded with CeO2 nanoparticles (particle size <20 nm). Ni and Ni-CeO2 coatings were achieved at a wide current density (c.d.) range from 1.0 to 5.0 A/dm2 under optimal conditions, and their corrosion protection efficacy was examined in 5% NaCl medium. The material property …

Determination of Poly Chlorinated biphenyls in sediment of Trondheim fjord (Norway) and Lake Tana (Ethiopia) using pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) and Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).
Abstract: The presence of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the environment is of great concern, as they are compounds that are hazardous to the environment and human health. Environmental investigations of PCBs can be challenging as they are found in trace amount, thus, it is important to have a reliable method for the determination of PCBs in environmental samples. In this work, an analytical method for the determination of PCBs in marine …

Secured Data Transmission using 2LSB Steganography
Abstract: Steganography contains transmitting secret messages through seemingly innocuous files. Steganography means hiding information by embedding secret data into an innocuous medium. In this study message bits are embedded randomly to achieve the higher security by combining cryptography and steganography. The contents of a message protect in Cryptography and Steganography is used to protect both messages and communicating parties. 2LSB technique is used to improve data capacity in an image. Selected …

The Changing Significance of Urban Infrastructure: A Study of Dikes in the Dutch Landscape
Abstract: In Gardens: An Essay on the Human Condition, Robert Pogue Harrison discusses the garden as being “nothing if not a phenomenon,” (p. 118) This transitional nature of landscape also applies to urban infrastructure; changing with time and in response to the needs of its users, for protection, transportation, or resource delivery. More recently, defensive dikes in the Netherlands have joined this group, as the relationship of the Dutch to their …
