Surface-Driven Microfluidic Flow of Dyed Water for Nano-Scale Application towards the Fabrication of Nanofluidic Sensors
Abstract: In this experimental work, a single SU-8 based glass microfluidic device is fabricated by maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique. Dyed water is prepared and used as working liquid. A CMOS camera is used to record the surface-driven microfluidic flow of dyed water in the fabricated SU-8 device. Leakage-free surface-driven microfluidic flow of dyed water is recorded. Nanofluidics is the next level of fluid mechanics after microfluidics towards miniaturisation of …

SU-8 Based Glass Microfluidic Device Coated with Deposited Nano-Layer for Future Fabrication of Nanofluidic Microelectromechanical Systems
Abstract: Two SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by maskless lithography and laboratory-made clamping. The inner walls of one device are coated with nano-layer of diamond like carbon (DLC) using the plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PECVD) system. The other device is remained uncoated. A CMOS camera catching 25 frames per second with a corresponding time-scale resolution of 0.04 second is used to record each surface-driven microfluidic flow of dyed …

Experiments to Record the Capillary Flow of Dyed Waterin SU-8 based Glass Microfluidic Devicestowards the Fluidic Phenomena
Abstract: In this experimental work, a set of three individual leakage-free SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by maskless lithography and proper indirect bonding technique. Dyed water(50% distilled water, 50% red dye) is prepared and used as working liquid. The microfluidic leakage is experimentally demonstrated in other set of two leaky microfluidic devices due to improper indirect bonding technique. The effect of surface-to-volume ratio on surface-driven capillary flow of dyed …
