Analysis of Surface Finish of Different Metallic Materials
Abstract: This study investigates surface processing techniques aimed at achieving a surface roughness (Ra) value of < 2.5 for various materials including gray iron, steel, pure copper, aluminum, and brass. Surface roughness plays a crucial role in determining the functional and aesthetic properties of machined components. The attainment of a specific Ra value demands precise control over machining parameters and selection of appropriate finishing processes. For steel, machining operation grinding followed …

Mesh to Shrink in Nano Fabricated Compose
Abstract: This article is study about shrink of polymer originated composes. Aim has been inclusive from nano- based fillers on hybridized consequence from polymeric effects. Otherwise, descriptive issues have ever arose to link accession to repair dental simulated perversions. Nanotechnology in material formulation has been production of functional structures in range of 0.1 to 100 nm. Advantages of these composites have inherent shrinkage of cure mode in accordance to monomers said …

Experimental Investigation of Vegetable Oil Based Cutting Fluid (VBCF) on Surface Roughness in Turning EN-8 Steel
Abstract: In the present study, properties of the present work of the non-ionic surfactants have been recognized to formulate vegetable oil based cutting fluid (VBCF) palm oil for the emulsion as non-conventional lubricant. Surface finish is an important indicator of quality in manufacturing industries and thus it is regarded as one of the most important parameter to be considered. In this present study, different machining parameters were taken and their effect …

Electrochemical Etching on Copper Surfaces to Achieve Superhydrophobicity
Abstract: In the present study, an attempt has been made to create superhydrophobicity on copper substrate by etching the surface at different parameters (current density and time). Etching time was varied from 30 to 240 minutes. Untreated copper surface exhibited contact angle of 91.4°. The best etched surface exhibited a maximum contact angle of 142.1° for a current density of 0.01A/cm2 and etching time of 60 minutes. The structure–property relationship of …
