Difference Between Human Language and Animal Communication
Abstract: As researchers have looked into how animals use language, the claim that the human use language differently from animals has generated a lot of debate. Researchers have taught apes, dolphins and parrots various human like communication methods, and lately there has be a rise in the study ofanimal language and behavior in its natural context as opposed to in a laboratory. My objective is to analyze human language from an …

ANIMAL EXPERIMENTATION: A STUDY
Abstract: Animal experimentation--which is both complex and controversial--is the subject of this study. It aims to untangle some of its ethical knots, trace its historical shifts, and slice through the legal boundaries that mark it out. Animal experimentation is unavoidable in biomedical and toxicological research. This research explores the perplexing ethical evaluation of animal use, balancing the intentional pain and suffering that such use means for these sentient beings with scientific …

Treatment of Synthetic Dairy Waste in an Aerobic Bioreactor
Abstract: Bioreactors are used to treat industrial wastewater including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, oil, dairy wastes, etc. Disposal of dairy wastes is of importance through the manufacture of milk products including cheese, butter, ice cream and processed milk. Most of the dairy industries use typical activated sludge method for their effluent treatment leading to a relatively high operation costs and problem with the disposal of large amounts of sludge. Aerobic processes are …

Production and Extraction of Bioethanol from Agricultural Waste
Abstract: Rapid elevation in population and industrialization results in the global demands of ethanol worldwide. Crops such as corn and sugarcane sufficiently cannot meet the global problems of ethanol production because of their primary value of food and feed. Hence, lignocellulosic materials like agricultural wastes are a good source for bioethanol production. Agricultural wastes are renewable, economical and there availability is higher. Bioethanol from agricultural wastes is an effective advance technology …

Bioremediation of Oil-Spilled Sites through Seeding Naturally Adapted Pseudomonas putida
Abstract: In the present study, crude oil degradation was analyzed using isolated bacterial strains. These bacterial strains were isolated from the crude-oil-contaminated soil sample. All the isolates were identified as species of Pseudomonas, in which the Pseudomonas putida P11 and LP1 demonstrated a strong ability to degrade kerosene, gasoline, diesel, engine oil and crude oil. Bioremediation for oil spill cleanup was analyzed by the inoculation of P. putida with the addition …

Bioplastics: A Review
Abstract: Plastics made from renewable biomass sources and some have been produced by processing natural biopolymers. Biodegradable bioplastics can be used to reduce the problem of plastic waste materials, which is choking the planet and damaging the ecology. The advantage of bioplastics is that they are not dependent on fossil fuels as a source of raw material. With regard to oil production, fossil fuels are a finite and irregularly divided resource …

REFLECTION ON INDUSTRIALIZATION STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA
Abstract: This paper discusses Industrialization Strategy for Sustainable Economic Development In Nigeria. The means by which development has been conceptualized determines the message that is passed across. Depending on the situation, development can be seen as a state, a process and a characterization all encapsulated in a word. In the 1950s and 1960s, development was viewed by the United Nations Organization (UNO) as an economic phenomenon in which rapid gains in …

A Review on Potential use of Bioherbicides for preventing the growth of weed plants
Abstract: Like pests, disease and other hazards weeds are one of the major problems for farmers. They not only compete with crops for water, nutrients, sunlight, and space but also harbor insect and disease pests, clog irrigation and drainage systems undermine crop quality and deposit weed seeds into crop harvests. They can heavily damage the production of crops as well as they reduce the value of land. Weeds can also host …
