Advancement of Poly-(ADP – Ribose) Polymerase (PARP) Inhibitors in Cancer Progression and Treatment
Abstract: DNA repair mechanisms are the most common and potential targets in cancer treatment. PARP enzymes play a crucial role in detection of DNA damage and its repair and also in apoptosis. Detailed knowledge of these mechanisms leads to the development of poly-(ADP-Ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors as vigorous anticancer drugs with specific action. PARP inhibitors can selectivity kill tumours with deficiencies in DNA repair proteins like BRCA1/2, exploiting synthetic lethality concept. …

Characteristics of Mycrocystin aeruginosa – Review
Abstract: Cynobacteria are photoautotrophs, they have major significance in the branch of phycology. There are some cynobacteria which synthesize microcystin which is a toxin compound released and caused deleterious effect to human kind. Mycrocystin aeruginosa produces a toxic algal bloom, this organism released a hepatotoxin called mycrocystin. Cyanobacterial toxins they are membrane-bound or occur free within the cells. In in-vitro research, most of the toxin release occurs as cells age and …

Avian Pathogenic E. Coli Alters the Transcriptome Profile of the Liver in Broiler Chicks
Abstract: Avian Pathogenic Escherichia coli (APEC) causes different pathological conditions in chickens of all age groups. In the present study, the transcriptome profile of APEC infected liver samples and control birds was studied. We sequenced 12 liver RNA libraries generated from six APEC infected and control liver samples, respectively. The RNA Seq of the control and infected liver samples generated 10.64 to 13.80 million pair-end reads. Genes were detected as differentially …

Cow’s milk trigger for type 1 diabetes
Abstract: Diabetes is an autoimmune, metabolic disorder that occurs when the pancreas stops producing insulin hormones. Type 1 diabetes or juvenile diabetes may occur genetically due to viral infection, vitamin D deficiency and environmental factors. Cow’s milk protein is one of the causes for type 1 diabetes. Casein protein which is found in the cow’s milk is responsible for production of antibodies bovine β–lacto globulin. Such antibodies destroy the β cell …

In Vitro Evaluation of Bioremediation Capacity of a Commercial Probiotic, Bacillus clausii, for Chromium (VI) and Lead (II) Toxicity
Abstract: Heavy metals cause disastrous effects on any living organisms. Probiotics have the ability to reduce metal toxicity. Commercial probiotics having bioremediation capacity can use these bacteria as an alternative to conventional remediation methods. The bioaccumulation of heavy metals including chromium (VI) (Cr [VI]) and lead (II) (Pb [II]) causes fatal toxicity in humans. Some naturally occurring bacterial species, such as Bacillus and Pseudomonas, contribute their role in bioremediation of these …
