Sustainable Hydrogen Solutions: Beryllium-Based Complexes and Catalysts for Efficient Energy Storage and Production
Abstract: This study explores the potential of beryllium (Be) and transition metal (TM) complexes in hydrogen storage and production, focusing on the hybridization of atomic orbitals to form dihydrogen complexes within nanostructured materials. We analyze the binding energies and adsorption characteristics of H₂ molecules in Be-dihydrogen complexes and compare them with TM-dihydrogen complexes. The findings indicate that Be can effectively bind H₂ at room temperature, making it a promising candidate for …

The Metallurgical Properties of Beryllium
Abstract: Beryllium is a toxic bivalent element, steel gray, strong, light-weight, primarily used as hardening agent in alloys. Beryllium has one of the highest melting points of the light metals. It has excellent thermal conductivity, is nonmagnetic, it resists attack by concentrated nitric acid and at standard temperature and pressures beryllium resist oxidation when expose to air. The Potential Effect of Mass Variation on the Efficiency of the Single Electron System of Group II Elements
Abstract: This study explores the efficiency, interactions, and dynamics of single-electron systems in the group II family of alkaline earth metals. The efficiency of these systems is assessed by analyzing their energy levels, with beryllium demonstrating the highest efficiency at 3.6 e-22 due to its low atomic mass and favorable energy transitions. The isotopic distribution patterns for these elements reveal how variations in neutron numbers influence their nuclear stability and electronic …

A Novel Approach to the Investigation of Molecular Polarization Using MATLAB Application
Abstract: Molecular polarization involves the separation of electric charge in a molecule due to the result of aninduced external field leading to a dipole having a positive charge on one side and the negative charge atthe other end. This helps us to know the characteristics of molecules and how they react with others. It isalso helpful to know their physical and chemical properties. Molecular polarization also includes itsintermolecular forces, dielectric behavior …

Single-Electron System of the Group 2 Elements:A Comparative Investigation
Abstract: This study presents a comparative investigation of the single-electron systems in group 2 elements, withthe primary objective of understanding the underlying trends in ionization energy, chemical reactivity, spectral lines, and radial probability distributions. The purpose of this research is to elucidate howthese properties evolve as one moves down the group, from beryllium (Be) to radium (Ra), and toexplore the implications for theoretical models and practical applications. One of the key problemsaddressed …
