Calibration of Temperature Sensor -Thermocouple and Thermistor in Food Processing Retorts
Abstract: The given thermocouple and thermistor are calibrated using stirred liquid bath method. The plot of voltage vs. temperature is drawn for the thermocouple and it is almost nonlinear and consistent with theoretical polynomial equation. Further, it is observed that there is no significant hysteresis of the temperature range of 0°C and 100°C. The nonlinear curve for the thermistor is obtained when the resistance against temperature is plotted. The constant β …

Motion Detector Using NE555 Timer
Abstract: This article is description about motion detector using NE555 Timer. Passive infrared (PIR) sensor has been automated switches on a device when someone comes close to it, otherwise, accession has been excused to turn on lights when someone has approached specified area i.e. under scriptive installation. Increasing additive scope of scores has been applicability to circuit inclusive of security systems, corridor specific system accusation as well bathroom lights. Accessed scheme …

A Overview on Reimagining MOSFET as Precision Thermal Sensor
Abstract: In the landscape of modern microelectronics, the transition from discrete sensing components to fully integrated silicon solutions have become a necessity for the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) and high-performance computing. This design explores the utilization of the MOSFET as a primary temperature-sensing transducer, leveraging its inherent thermal sensitivity rather than treating heat as a parasitic interference. By operating the MOSFET in the subthreshold (weak inversion) or saturation …

The Enduring Impact and Future Trajectory of Semiconductor Temperature Sensing: A Study
Abstract: We live in a world obsessed with measurement, and temperature is its most intimate metric. It isthe difference between a thriving processor and a melted core, between a stable chemicalreaction and a catastrophic one, between a comfortable home and an inhospitable one. Fordecades, this measurement was the domain of mercury columns and bimetallic strips—physical, analog, and stubbornly limited. Then came the silent revolution: the semiconductor temperaturesensor. Semiconductor technology has revolutionized the …
