Optimizing Dyeing Processes for Nylon: A Study onUltrasonic and Natural Dye ApplicationBy Archana Singh
Abstract: This study focuses on the application of natural dyes, specifically those derived from onion (Allium cepa) extracts, for dyeing nylon fabric, while assessing the impact of different mordants, including potassium dichromate, copper sulfate, and alum. The research explores the effectiveness of High Temperature High Pressure dyeing techniques to enhance dye uptake and color fastness. Natural dyes, traditionally viewed as less effective than synthetic counterparts, are being reevaluated for their eco-friendly …

Synthesis, Characterization and Photoconductive Properties of Antimony Selenium IodideBy Archana Singh, Harish K. Dubey
Abstract: A shiny needle-shaped polycrystalline chalcogenide compound, SbSeI, was synthesized through a solid-state thermal reaction by combining the constituent elements in a stoichiometric ratio within an evacuated quartz tube at 585°C for 3.5 hours. The resulting compound was characterized using SEM, EDAX, and XRD techniques to confirm its structure and composition. The resistance versus temperature curve revealed the semiconducting nature of the material with a resistivity of 3.5 x 10⁷ Ω-cm …

Isolation and Characterization of Alkaloidsfrom Ancistrocladus Heyneanus Leaves: A Phytochemical StudyBy Madhuri Sharon, Archana Singh, Anuradha Pandey, Sudhakar More
Abstract: Leaves of Ancistrocladus heyneanus were collected from the forest of the Matheran hills of Maharashtra. From these leaves, alkaloids were extracted using dichloromethane, and two new monomeric Naphthyl-iso-quinoline alkaloids, Youndamine A and Ancistrocline were isolated using TLC and HPLC. HPLC/MS and NMR further identified the patient. The present study involves the collection and chemical investigation of the leaves of Ancistrocladus heyneanus, a plant species found in the forested regions of …
