Study of PLA and its Synthesis Kinetics
Abstract: In this project we studied about Polylactic Acid and its production kinetics. The most often found optically active hydroxycarboxylic acid is lactic acid (LA, also known as 2-hydroxypropionic acid). In the form of L-and D-Lactic Acid, this chiral molecule may be found. The building blocks of polylactide are carboxylic acid monomers produced by fermentation of sugars from renewable sources, such as sugar cane, beet root, or corn starch. These sugars …

Effectiveness of Planned Teaching Programme on Knowledge Regarding Dental Fluorosis
Abstract: Introduction: Dental fluorosis remains one of the most common disorders affecting the teeth, starting right from the early age. Hence it is important to prevent dental fluorosis from the school age level. To a certain duration (as per WHO; 0.6 ppm), fluoride ingestion is useful for teeth and bone development, but excessive ingestion causes a disease called fluorosis. The greatest matter in dental fluorosis is aesthetic modification in the permanent …

Abstract: Industrial wastewater treatment plants (IWWTPs) stand at the critical intersection of economic productivity and environmental sustainability. Unlike municipal sources, industrial effluent is characterized by extreme heterogeneity, containing highly variable concentrations of toxic heavy metals, recalcitrant organic compounds, suspended solids, and emerging contaminants. This complexity necessitates bespoke, multistage treatment trains, often combining physical, chemical, and advanced biological methods (e.g., membrane bioreactors, electrochemical oxidation, and anaerobic digestion). This analysis examines the contemporary …
